I offered to work the evening shift, giving my dad the night off.  he was jet-lagged as he had just returned from his vacation abroad.  Not because I need the money, because I want to.  Because I enjoy it and it makes me happy.

“Hugging is good medicine. It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift. You need four hugs a day for survival. Eight hugs for maintenance. Twelve hugs for growth. Scientists say hugging is a form of communication because it can say things you don’t have the words for. And the nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can’t give one without getting one.” – Anonymous.
